Hey there! I’m Sharon, a Kenyan travel writer. My first memorable trip was to Lake Victoria, Kenya, as part of a school trip. It was so exciting because we left home at midnight to get there by morning. I spent the entire journey looking out the window for hours and watching as dawn broke. As the trees and the seemingly endless stretches of grassland flew past, my love for travel began.
My passions aside from travel is meeting up for coffee with friends and most importantly, the occasional hours of solitude. My first love was reading novels from all over the world when I was young. My greatest happiness now is that I get to visit those places I read about. In person this time. Afterall, I did visit each and every one of them whenever I closed my eyes as a little girl.
